Your at-home routine is the first line of defense against oral health issues, but must be accompanied by regular visits to our office for thorough examinations. The frequency of your office visits will be based on your particular needs. Every six months is standard, but our dentists may recommend you come in more or less frequently on a case-by-case basis.
During these visits we will examine your teeth, gums, and jaw. We also routinely provide oral cancer screenings. Most oral health issues can easily be treated when caught early on. It is when they are left undetected that they can cause serious oral and systemic health issues.
Your regular cleanings allow us to professionally clean and polish your teeth. This enables us to remove plaque and tartar that may be difficult to remove at home, and to remove surface stains that can detract from the beauty of your smile.
